Awesome venue, with great sound and cheap drinks. One of the few places around to catch hard rock/ heavy metal. I also hear they have hotdogs for the glizzy
Hands down the best venue in the fort worth area. They host local music, burlesque and even professional Wrestling events. Bartender Krystle is always a joy. And they continually invest into thier sound system and building.
The 10:30 band on oct 13th was amazing but the crowd started a pit and apparently everyone in the pit was an animal. One of the guys was throwing full force punches at head level and knocked a friend down onto her hip. Then completely ignored her and didnt pick her up or check on her. Pretty much children with zero mosh pit etiquette. It would be helpful if there was at least one security guard or someone to pick people out that dont deserve to be apart of the crowd cuz I'm scared to mosh here now. I dont really want a concussion, I just wanna shoulder check people and trust that I'll get picked up when I get knocked down instead of trampled.
Always have a great time at the Haltom! Staff is friendly and attentive, the venue is spacious and clean, Krystal the bartender is top notch, and Steve is a great sound guy. Lots of accommodations for both bands and patrons. The food, is food, but who goes to a music venue for the food anyways? If you're a band looking for a great space to host your next event, then the Haltom is it...just make sure you bring more than 3 people otherwise the venue will look empty and you'll just look silly!
This building has hosted some amazing local wrestling shows. I like how they don't charge for parking. The restrooms are in pretty good condition and this is my favorite building to watch wrestling.
